7th Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry
"Iron Brigade"
The 7th WI Infantry was one of The regiments that made up The Union's famous
"Iron Brigade" along with The 2nd WI, 6th WI, 19th IN and The 24th MI
their initial training was conducted at
Camp Randall in Madison, WI in 1861

This site will endeavor to carry information on The men of The 7th WI to include:
Battle & Personal Statistics, Personal & Grave Site Photos, Company Rosters,
Residence at time of Enlistment, Genealogical Information,
and Descendant and/or Relatives.
